Day of Defeat Update Adds New Map, TF2 Features and More

A beta update for Day of Defeat: Source, the mod-turned-retail first-person shooter, has been released, bringing a number of new additions to the game. The update includes 51 achievements, player avatar support and detailed player statistics. It also features Team Fortress 2-styled nemesis-revenge freeze cam as well as the particle effects that came out of TF2’s development.
The update also adds a new map – dod_Palermo – a remix of the most community map. The beta client can be downloaded through Steam now.
