Devo is Through Being Cool in Rock Band

G4TV reports that new-wave band Devo, best known for its hit 1980 song “Whip It”, will be featured in Rock Band soon. Band founder Mark Mothersbaugh has told them that three songs will make it to the game, with “Through Being Cool!” confirmed as one.
“They wanted ‘Through Being Cool’ for some reason, which is kind of odd because it’s all synth solos, so we re-recorded it,” he said. “My brother Bob, who’s our guitar player, played all my synth solos, synth leads, as guitar leads, so it would relate to the game better, and then we recorded one of those little crazy endings that they put on it.”
While it sounds all fine and dandy, no release date was specified, but looks like it will be out pretty soon.
