You’d think Microsoft and Epic Games had earned enough with the original Gears of War… but as it stands, they haven’t. To further milk the original title, Microsoft is set to release a new edition of the game that will come packed with all previously released DLC; it will also be cheaper.

This pre-order listing on GameStop lists the game for $39.99. While it does not offer many details, it can be assumed that the disc will include the Hidden Fronts and the Discovery Channel sponsored DLC. While it may be possible that they might include the content released for the PC version, it seems highly unlikely seeing as how Epic developers have made it clear (on several occasions) that bringing the content to the Xbox 360 is near impossible.

So, if you’ve yet to experience Locust-killing and testosterone pumped gaming, be sure to open up your wallet on June 24.
