Sega Extends Unreal License

sega-logo Refusing to offer any further details, Sega today announced that it has extended its licensing arrangement for Epic’s Unreal Engine 3 for another unnamed cross-platform title. The publisher first licensed the popular middleware tool last year for use in “several upcoming projects being developed in North America.”

Sega has so far announced two titles that are being powered by the engine: action-shooter Aliens: Colonial Marines and spy-RPG Alpha Protocol, both of which are headed for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 – the major platforms.
