Might & Magic Creator Making Fantasy MMO
Following up on Trion’s partnership with the Sci-Fi Channel, the company has revealed its first project; the company also announced that it is now a licensed PS3 publisher.
The company’s first title will be a fantasy MMO led by Jon Van Canegham, the creator of Might & Magic, the classic PC RPG series. Few details were provided, though.
“This game is designed on the philosophy of putting players at the center of the game world,” said Caneghem.
“The game will live and change along with the players, evolving in response to their actions and the creativity of our design team,” he added. “By building an extensive event system and a server architecture that allows for dynamic change, we are creating completely new opportunities for creative game design.”
