Coldplay to Rock Guitar Hero

Posted last month, but unnoticed till now, EW’s Hollywood Insider reports that popular band Coldplay is headed to Guitar Hero 3.
“Violet Hill” will be the band’s first track for the game; it will be part of a massive publicity rollout for the band’s new album Viva La Vida which is due out June 17.
Though guitars aren’t Coldplay’s strong points, Chris Martin from the band quipped that “it’s not [all] about the piano sh*t.” It is not known if the band plans to release more content for the game.
