One of the best adventure titles to come out in recent years is not exactly high on its developers list, it appears. Creator of the acclaimed The Longest Journey series Ragnar Tornquist revealed on his blog that the episodic sequel Dreamfall Chapters is low on Funcom’s list of priorities at the moment, but is still in the works.

“Dreamfall Chapters—and, by proxy, The Longest Journey—isn’t Funcom’s highest priority at this point,” he wrote. “With Age of Conan live, The Secret World staffing up in every department, and other games in various stages of development, the project is currently on the back burner—but it hasn’t been abandoned.”

He doesn’t offer any timeframe for the development of the project. Chapters would be the third entry in the Longest Journey series.
