Quake Wars Weekend on Xbox Live
Wth the console port of Enemy Territory: Quake Wars out now on Xbox 360, Microsoft has announced it will host a Xbox Live weekend for the game, allowing gamers the chance to play with members of the development team, as well as partake in competitions that will give away Xbox 360 Elites and lots of ETQW merchandise among other things.
The weekend will start tomorrow, June 6, and will have members of id Software, Splash Damage and Nerve Software come online to utterly dominate fans of the game. It will be followed by a “play & win” sweepstakes, one that will see quite a few gamers receive prizes including a Quake Wars-branded Flash drive, t-shirts, posters, and Xbox 360 Elites, among others.
Finally, the weekend will conclude on Sunday with a Leaderboard tournament, with the best player walking away with a trip for two to QuakeCon 2008, an Xbox 360 Elite, 12 months of Xbox Live Gold, 1600 Microsoft points and more.
