The revival of the franchise has given it the much needed steam required to smash into Hollywood: a live-action Turok film is being planned.

It was revealed by Adam Bleach, a Native American actor, who recently voiced the Dino-hunter in an animated movie based off the franchise.

“We just finished the animated movie and now we’re going into the feature film movie [which should be made] hopefully in a couple years. We’re about to set up meetings to develop a script and put it out there,” he revealed while speaking to MTV. “I’ll have to beef up, and be a good guy, and save the world!”

More information on the project is expected as it goes into pre-production.
