Rumor: Team Ninja Almost Vacant

When you’re as cool and fashionable as Tomonobu Itagaki, the sunglass-wearing leader of Team Ninja, you must have loyal subordinates. This has come true as 1UP reports on a rumor that following Itagaki’s lead many key members of Team Ninja are leaving Tecmo. They are also said to slap Tecmo with a class-action lawsuit in regards to unpaid bonuses for completed games once they exit the company.
Tecmo has been quick to state that “Team Ninja… is intact and, as a matter of fact, has several new projects already underway.” However, 1UP is quick to question the authenticity of the publishers claim, asking just how many people are left in Team Ninja.
We will soon find out if the rumors are confirmed to be true or not.
