Being billed as the “most co-op game ever”, publisher Torpex Games today announced that its XNA-developed cooperative shooter Schizoid will hit Xbox Live Arcade next month.

The game features two-player online and offline cooperative play where participants are each assigned a specific color allowing players to absorb bullets and destroy otherwise indestructible enemies of the same color.

It was developed using Microsoft’s XNA Studios suite, which lets enthusiasts create their own games for PC and Xbox 360. Schizoid will be one of the first XNA games on XBLA.
