E3 2008: Snowboarding Game To Use Balance Board

The truly effective part of the Wii’s control schemes is how many gamers look at them and say “they’ll make a fun ____ game for this”. The WiiFit balance board seemed ripe for use in ‘extreme sports’ games and we’ve just received word from E3 that we’ll be seeing just that. Ubisoft is partnering with professional snowboarder Shaun White to bring gamers Shaun White Snowboarding. It’ll be available on other consoles with non-balance board controls but the game has been designed “from the ground up” to utilize the Wii balance board to greatest effect.
