E3 2008: Sony: MGS 4 Possible Only on PS3

With rampant speculation that Metal Gear Solid 4 will make it to the Xbox 360 eventually, SCEA CEO Jack Tretton shot down the rumors, stating that the game is only possible on the PS3.
Speaking to the press, Tretton argued that no other console had the technical prowess to handle the game. He added that the game makes full use of Blu-ray, and that the game would not be possible on DVD.
“Metal Gear Solid is not only exclusive on PS3 – it’s only possible on PS3, thanks in part to Blu-Ray.”
