Industry Insider: MGS 4 Xbox 360 Inevitable

Now that Final Fantasy XIII‘s jump to the Xbox 360 is official, many have been speculating that Metal Gear Solid 4 would make it to the console. However, a very senior UK industry source, speaking to VG247, stated that the jump is “inevitable.”
“There’s only MGS left now: for a few months at least,” said their unnamed source. “It’s inevitable. Konami knows how many million they’d sell in the US alone. If FFXIII can make it to 360 when Sony owns nine percent of Square, Metal Gear’s a slam dunk.”
Hideo Kojima, creator of the series, has gone on record to say that the game cannot be ported to the console due to the fact that it uses far more space than the DVD format the Xbox 360 uses.
