Everyone’s favorite studio has shocked the world by saying that they would be “happy to have that conversation” should they be approached with a buyout offer. Independent developer Valve would be “happy” to be acquired, as revealed by marketing VP Doug Lombardi.

However, Lombardi added that they are “doing pretty well” and is “really happy with what we’re doing.”

Lombardi also talked about the company’s relationship with EA, which he described as “really good”, noting that they are yet to see EA as the “fabled boogeyman.”
