Phantasy Star Goes Online on DS
Reporting from Japan, Famitsu’s weekly magazine has unveiled Phantasy Star Zero, a new entry in the fantasy hack-and-slash series, for the DS.
It will feature a new story and Wi-fi for cooperative multiplayer for up to four players either locally or via Nintendo Wi-fi Connection for online play. The game will let players sketch messages on the portable’s touch screen like Pictochat; these messages will pop up as speech bubbles on other players’ screens.
Phantasy Star Zero is scheduled for release in Japan this December; no North American or European releases were mentioned.
