3D Screenshot of Call of Duty: World At War

Activision has
released a QuickTime VR, or as they call it, a “3D screenshot” of the new Call of Duty title:
World at War. The “screenshot” is an image, which can be viewed in 360ยบ, is of a lone soldier using a flamethrower on a bunker. As expected of a game using the
Call of Duty 4 engine, the scenery, lighting, and other visual effects all look spectacular. Even with the expected level of visual quality, the fire effects
still stand out as being particularily good. Considering the game does incorporate a lot of flame thower, and other fire mechanics in its gameplay, it’s a good thing that the developement team at Treyarch has gotten it to work correctly. Or at least it works visually.
Call of Duty: World at War is set to release November 11th (Remberance Day), and will be available for all current systems, with the exception of the PlaySation Portable.
