Katamari Wedding Cake

What’s the number one way to show that you are unhealthily committed to video games? Have a WoW wedding in Las Vegas. What’s the number two way? Have a video game themed wedding cake. Apparently a Flickr user called “offwithyourtv” posted some pictures from a wedding that not only had the Katamari wedding cake shown above, but also had Guitar Hero set up for entertainment. The cake was done by “Mike’s Amazing Cakes” in Redmond, Washington.
Now, there are some interesting birthday cakes out there, but birthdays come every year. You only have (hopefully) one wedding cake, so obviously the Katamari Damacy theme was important enough to be chosen over every other possible type of cake they could have chosen to define their wedding. I guess the message they want to send is that their relationship will continue to grow… at the expense of the nearest neighborhood.
