Alone In The Dark PS3 Version Gets Subtitle
It’s rare that a title is any different when it gets brought from one console to the other. Occasionally there’s a control tweak, especially when something is being ported to the Wii, but usually the remain more or less unchanged.
One of the biggest exceptions is the PS3 version of Alone In The Dark. After the ailing company’s title made a decent splash commercially they took the chance to iron out the problems that plagued the Xbox 360 version of the title in the hopes of an even stronger performance on the PS3.
In addition to tightening up the gameplay and ironing out bugs they took the time to add in more content including an entirely new action sequence. It seems the experience is enough altered that they felt it needed to be somewhat retitled. The PS3 version of the game will be releasing in November with the full title of Alone In the Dark: Inferno.
