Far Cry 2 Gone Gold

With just a week left until Far Cry 2’s scheduled retail release on October 21, Ubisoft today announced that the sequel to the open-world shooter has gone gold and entered manufacturing.
Taking on the reins from Crytek, Ubisoft Montreal set the shooter in the vast lands of Africa, having players torch jungles and kill enemies at one swoop.
The game will be released on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360; it will also be available on Steam, Valve’s digital distribution platform.
