It’s been easy to tell that Peter Molyneux of Lionhead Studios has been pouring his heart and soul into Fable 2. He’s claimed it was the “most complete game he’s ever worked on”, rated it a 9/10 before it even went gold. In what is often a bad move Molyneux gave direction to the reviewers, telling them that the best perspective to take in reviewing the title is that of a non-gamer.

Whether or not most reviewers took his advice to heart the reviews for Fable 2 have been generally positive. The game has an impressive 89% Metacritic review and Molyneux was “incredibly emotional” when he was reading the first reviews. He has thanked the press for their “patience and belief” in their review of the title.
