Sony Working on Fixing Mortal Kombat II

mortal-kombat-2-psn One of PlayStation Network’s top-selling titles has disappeared from the service following the PS3’s v2.50 firmware update. The game in question is Mortal Kombat II – Midway’s cult-classic fighter – which was released back in 2007 on PSN.

Sony has spoken out on the matter, promising that the game will return after being updated to resolve an unspecified issue with the latest PS3 firmware.

"A Mortal Kombat II specification is being upgraded in connection with the release of the latest firmware update," the company said. "This is one of our top titles on PlayStation Network, we are working diligently to get this back up."

No advice was given to customers who bought the game and had upgraded to the latest firmware version.
