LMNO Not Cancelled

On November 2nd, 2008 in Uncategorized -

steven_spielberg_et_go_home Shacknews reports that EA has confirmed to them that Steven Spielberg’s action game LMNO is still in development, discrediting rumors on the web that the game had been cancelled after the company had decided to cut 6% of its workforce recently.

"LMNO is in development at EALA under the creative leadership of Doug Church (Creative Director) and Lou Castle (Executive Producer)," the publisher said to them. The site noted that no timeframe for the release of the game was given.

LMNO is part of the famed director’s three-game deal with the company, the first of which was the commercially successful Boom Blox for the Wii. While BB was a puzzle game, LMNO is an action title that has players take on the role of a secret service agent escorting a computer-controlled character.
