Rumors had been coming up repeatedly regarding an expansion for Metal Gear Solid 4. They put the expansion set to release via DLC some time in December of this year. Along with some extra missions/gameplay  the expansion was rumored to add an alternate ending to the title.

To the dismay of Solid Snake fans Konami has put squashed these rumors. A representative from Konami said that the company has no plans to create expansions or DLC for Metal Gear Solid 4. The company’s efforts at this time are directed solely at creating expansion packs for Metal Gear Online. The next is the Meme Expansion which is set to release in November.
