Lionhead Teasing ‘Big’ Fable 2 Announcement Coming
On the Fable 2 development blog Lionhead gave some hints that there’ll be a big announcement coming. The somewhat ironic post that begins with a criticism of the technique by which companies drum up pre-announcement buzz and then goes on to do just that hints that next week there’ll be an announcement. Many are guessing at a patch, which seems possible given that it is called a “good announcement for Fable II fans”.
The announcement goes on to say it’s “quite a big announcement,” which seems more likely to be one of three things: new DLC, an expansion pack or the beginning of development on the third title. I’m putting my money on an expansion. The first title was really fleshed out by the release of ‘The Lost Chapters’ and the storyline of the sequel seems fairly abridged.
