Bearing bad news for Wii gamers, Activision Blizzard sent out word that “technical or licensing restrictions” will prevent the console’s gamers from receiving all of the Guitar Hero World Tour downloadable content that PS3 and Xbox 360 owners will be able to enjoy without a hitch.

This is due to Wii’s Shop Channel lacking the ability to bundle multiple downloads into one purchase. Thus, the store only allows songs to be sold individually, and “certain artists prefer to keep the integrity of the track pack rather than releasing singles,” according to Activision, is what is causing such a problem.

Seems like Nintendo still has a lot of work to do on its online store before catching up to Xbox Live and PlayStation Store.
