Resident Evil 5 Demo Announced, Dated

Capcom has officially announced that a downloadable playable demo for Resident Evil 5 will be released for Japanese Xbox 360 owners next Friday, December 5.

The demo will feature two stages which can be played with both online and offline coop. It will be restricted for Xbox Live Gold members, so non-paying members won’t be able to partake in the fun in the region.

A North American release was promised, too, though no exact release date was given. It will hit both PS3 and Xbox 360 in the region.

Capcom additionally noted that the full game will hit stores on March 13, 2009.
