PlayStation 3 to Cost Less to Produce?

We all know that getting a Wii or an Xbox is cheaper than purchasing a PS3. Why is that? Well Sony’s jewel costs $448.73 to produce and its most expensive setup is sold at $399. Which means Sony is hardly making any money off the gaming platform. And they weren’t making any money in the past either. Back when a PS3 was sold at $599 the building build for one PS3 rose as high as $840. Should Sony focus on a new generation? Should they get some spies inside that Nintendo building? Nintendo is certainly making money of the Wii, and especially now when Santa is delivering lots of gaming consoles everywhere in the world.
