Fallout 3 DLC Dated, Detailed

Now that the 1.1 patch for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of Fallout 3is out, developer Bethesda today announced that the first of three downloadable expansion packs for the game will arrive on January 27.

Dubbed Operation: Anchorage, the download will contain around 4-5 hours of gameplay and will let gamers relive the liberation of Anchorage, Alaska from China.

The pack will sell for 800 Microsoft points ($10) on PC and Xbox 360 as part of an exclusivity agreement with Microsoft; PS3 wont get any content. The second pack will arrive in February, offering players a look at post-apocalyptic Pittsburg. Finally, the third pack will continue the main story of the game, allowing players to join the Brotherhood of Steel, and will raise the games level cap to 30. It is due out in March.
