PS3 to Cost $100 Less in April?

What happened to all those rumors saying the PlayStation 3 won’t get a price cut soon? A Wedbush Morgan analyst, Michael Pachter has predicted that the 80GB PS3 will drop to $299 in April. That’s a $100 less than what it costs now. He’s also saying that the Pro version of the Xbox 360 is going to get a $50 drop to $249.
Will that really happen? I mean Sony is loosing money on every system and a price cut will make loose even more money! Oh wait a minute, are we to understand that Sony finally found a way to drop production costs too?
