The Wii version of Rockband has been playing catch-up with the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 for some time now, and this week that gap gets a bit smaller.

6 new songs (to the Wii at least) have been added at 200 Wii Points a peice:

“Attack” – 30 Seconds to Mars

“Gimme Three Steps” – Lynrd Skynrd

“Live Forever” – Oasis

“Just What I needed” – The Cars

“Siva” – Smashing Pumpkins

“Tell Me Baby” – Red Hot Chili Peppers 

Maybe by the time Rockband 3 is out the Wii Rockband will have the full song list featured in it’s Xbox 360 and PS3 counterparts. We can only hope…
