Hoping to monetize the mass Street Fighter 4 hysteria once the game is released, Capcom today announced its plans for post-release content, noting that it will offer a steady stream of costume packs as well as a Championship Mode Expansion pack.

The Championship Mode expansion will be free; no release date was given though. It will offer a Replay Mode, letting gamers record, upload and download top matches to share with the SFIV community. There will be a new points system and enhanced tournament matching system.

Five costume packs containing alternative outfits for five characters will be released weekly for 320 Microsoft points ($3.99). The first will be available starting February 17.
