Ubisoft today announced Dawn of Discovery for PC, Wii and Nintendo DS, the North American title of city-building sequel Anno 1404.

The game will continue the series’ focus on historical urban planning and settlement management. However, unlike previous games in the franchise, Dawn of Discovery does not seem to feature combat.

Making it friendly to the consoles, the Wii and DS versions will feature support for motion and stylus controls; the Wii version will also feature a co-op mode.

The title is due out this summer on the aforementioned platforms.
