In leui of the game’s launch, Best Buy employees will be dressed up as zombies, TV screens will show nothing other than static snow, and entire sections of the store will be turned into a haunted house. Sounds cool right?

Disney Interactive Studios was in the news a couple of days earlier about laying some of their staff off. Thankfully, there’s good news from the studio today: they are readying a game based on the upcoming Tron film sequel TR2N.
This comes from Variety’s unnamed sources who say that the publisher is apparently “talking to developers” about the game, suggesting that it could be developed by an external studio.
No other details were given. Variety, however, believes that it will be released simultaneously with the coming sequel which is due to hit theaters in 2011.

It will also feature online cooperative gameplay for both games, as well as a new “infinite” mode to let non-hardcore players to complete the game.

It is being developed at Sega Studios San Francisco, formerly known as Secret Level, which worked with A2M on the disastrous and critically panned Iron Man game released last year.
No details were given, though Sega did note that “players can expect an entirely new and enhanced gameplay experience” due to a refined engine.
The film sequel is due out next year, so the game is expected then.
PC Gaming Alliance’s board of directors grew by two today, as they announced the addition of representatives from Capcom and The Guildhall.

“Capcom believes strongly in the value and strength of the PC gaming market as a global platform for our entertainment brands,” said Capcom VP Christian Svensson. He added that past PCGA participation has “great improved our understanding of the market… and allowed us to participate in improving the field of PC gaming.”
After some round and round on the rumor mill regarding whether or not LucasArts had cancelled the Indiana Jones game that was in the works they’ve released some information about the Wii and PSP versions of the game. Unsurprisingly it’s going to be a mix of action, platforming and puzzle gameplay styles, many of which will utilize the Wiimote’s gesture controls in the console version.
Combat will be both gun-based and melee, with players able to utilize their environment in order to defeat foes. Chases and escape scenes will sometimes be quick time events requiring different gestures to avoid certain doom. Other times you’ll be at the controls of a vehicle such as a bi-plane or at the reigns of a stampeding elephant. There’ll also be multiplayer options, with a co-op feature where two players go off on a completely new adventure, and several versus modes including a bi-plane battle and a brawl atop a tank.
