Capcom Teasing Code Veronica Remake

Playing all coy and whatnot, Capcom is at it again, promising that there will be “new game announcements” at the Resident Evil 5 Launch Party this Thursday.
While they did not specify anything, it can be pointed out that the company recently promised Joystiq that fans of Resident Evil and the Wii “will be very happy very soon” although RE5 is being released on PS3 and Xbox 360.
The guy who made the promise – product manager Matt Dahlgren – further teased that March 12 (this Thursday) would make fans of Resident Evil: Code Veronica “very pleased”, adding that it won’t be a PSN or XBLA remake.
That’s not a guarantee that we will see a Code Veronica remake coming our way, but hell, why not? The game was released back in 2000 on the Dreamcast.
