Having missed the Playstation 3 Trophy introduction by a month, Metal Gear Solid 4 has been without those ever since which is not a good thing since it’s such an iconic PS3 title.
Well it seems Konami is listening to the woes of gamers everywhere with company employee Brandon Laurino posting the following on the official Playstation Blog:
On the subject of MGS4/MGO trophies and Konami ID – we hear you. We have been circulating these issues internally, and we will report back as soon as we are able.
Sounds promising, let’s just hope they don’t get too busy with their new projects to forget that MGS4 needs those trophies!

It seems Ensemble Studios’ Halo Wars wasn’t the only game to get unofficially released before it’s release date as Resident Evil 5 has also been leaked for the Xbox 360.
Released by a group by the name of KFC, the Resident Evil 5 torrent, which shall go unnammed, clocks in at 6.71GB.
We won’t tell you where to get the file, but we have to warn you; if you run this file on your 360 there is a chance something bad may happen. Have a nice day.

Yes, it’s true, some Xbox 360 owners out there are still playing with the old Xbox dashboard. Crazy, I know.
Well it looks like developers are giving them a push in the right direction. It was recently announced that the update for the dashboard will be included in upcoming titles.
Two games confirmed to have included the update are Tom Clancy’s H.A.W.X and MLB NK9, now lets just hope those sorry souls buy them.

No, not really, sorry to get you excited. But it is a possiblity that Bungie will release another game starring the Chief, let me tell you why.
Frank O’Connor recently spoke with USA Today about the upcoming Halo 3: ODST, but the key phrase that came out of his mouth was ”I doubt we have seen the last of Master Chief.” Sounds pretty sneaky to slip that in right at the end of the interview. Let the rumors fly boys.
Other than that, O’Connor commented on ODST, saying it:
“is significantly more than an add-on. It’s a lot of game. You play the game through the point of view of an ODST. They are dropped into combat from orbit. They have a rivalry with the Spartans that is well known to the fans of the fiction. We finally let you into their boots as it were. …It’s kind of a detective story in a way. But it is much more action-packed than that.”

Sounds cool, right? This year QuakeCon is to be held at the Hilton Anatole Hotel in Dallas, Texas from August 13th to the 16th. Be there!

Word has been circulating the internet that there are several players out there experiencing some issues with the control scheme implemented into Killzone 2.
Well, after initially denying the fact, Guerilla Games has announced that they are currently looking into the problem.
Destruction quotes Producer Seb Downie to have said the following:
Okay, before I start crying.
1. We have not decided if we are going to do anything to the controls. We are investigating.
2. If we change them, we have not said how. No reason to get upset. We are not going to turn them on their head. It would not be sweeping changes.
3. Any potential changes made will be carefully analyzed and tested to ensure they do not negatively affect players who do not experience any issues.
Let’s just hope this problem is squashed before it escalates any further. I mean, Killzone 2 is pretty much the killer app for PS3 currently, right?
