EA’s The Sims 3 isn’t set to hit store shelves until June 2nd but it seems a group by the name of RELOADED has gone ahead and leaked the game to the masses.
Clocking in at 5.3GB, The Sims 3 leak has been spread to just about every major BitTorrent tracker there is. Several posters have confirmed that this is in fact the official release but will EA care? I mean, The Sims franchise is one of the best selling PC franchises of all time. And, with all of the new features being added to number 3 it’s sure to sell like hotcakes.
Of course, Digitalbattle doesn’t condone illegally downloading games so do so at your own risk.

Does your PSP still work? Do you know where it is? OK good because Harmonix has recently announced the entire song list set to appear in their upcoming PSP title Rock Band Unplugged. 50 songs spanning from the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, and 00s are all included in the list which is viewable after the break.
Harmonix also went ahead and announced that there will be an additional 10 songs made available for download right when the game ships.
Rock Bang unplugged will hit store shelves on June 9th for $39.99. Will this be enough to make gamers blow the dust off the PSP and forgive it for its poor library of games? Probably not, but this game will most likely keep you occupied on the bus, or train, or anywhere else.

I’ve been a fan of the “Meet the (Insert TF2 class here)” series ever since Valve began releasing them however long ago. Well, another day means another class update and since it’s now the Spy’s turn they have gone ahead and released a Meet the Spy video.
However, that’s not all; Valve has also revealed 35 all new Spy achievements for you to collect. They leave exactly what the different achievement entail up to the imagination leaving a blank spot where a description would go. Perhaps we will recieve descriptions for all of the achievements tomorrow?
You can check out the achievements along with the new Meet the Spy video, here.

Capcom has gone and announced that the rumored Tatsunoko vs Capcom Wii release is in fact official and that it will be playable at next month’s E3:
The game that many thought would never make it to North America is actually in the works and will be at E3 for all of you lucky Unity members to get your hands on.
If you are unaware what Tatsunoko vs Capcom is, it is similar to Marvel vs Capcom except instead of Marvel characters duking it out with the likes of Ryu and gang there are Tatsunoko characters.
What is Tatsunoko you say? Well that’s what Wikipedia is for, of course.

Adding even more fuel to the fire, Engadget has recently been issued a cease and desist regarding the images of the PS3 Slim thats supposedly in the works.
Now, why would a Chinese company care if images of a piece of hardware that doesn’t even exist circulate the internet? Well, the logical explanation is that this hardware does in fact exist but there’s no telling because Sony insists that it doesn’t.
Let’s just hope that Sony announces this thing along with a price cut at E3. Hey, we can dream, can’t we?

In case you didn’t want to shell out the ridiculous amount of money Microsoft is trying to charge for an upgraded Xbox 360 harddrive, Datel has given you a nice alternative.
Pictured above is Datel’s MAX Memory card for the Xbox 360 that allows users to expand the 2GB or 4GB capacity via its microSD/SDHC slot. Are these cards a hacker’s dream come true? I mean you can fit an entire Xbox 360 game on an SD card now a days.
Either or, these cards will start at around $40 when they hit shelves at an undisclosed date.

After Realtime Worlds got wind of the speculation surrounding their appearance at E3, they released the following statement to the APB Evolved community:
Hi everyone at APB-Evolved, we just wanted to quickly say thanks for all your patience recently whilst we’ve been quietly pushing forward with the development of APB.
We know this can be frustrating for fans, so to show our appreciation we have decided to inform you guys that yes we WILL be at E3 this year and this will mark the start of lots more news, activities and information coming out about APB: All Points Bulletin.
Here is a brand new screenshot made especially for you guys to give you another look at the awesome character customizations that will make up a large part of APB.
See you all at E3.
Realtime Worlds
So there you have it, Realtime Worlds will definitely be at E3 showcasing their upcoming MMO All Points Bulletin. Oh yeah, they also gave the community the above screenshot to show off the character customization, how kind of them.

When I first saw the announcement trailer for Tony Hawk: RIDE I wondered how the hell that skateboard deck shaped controller would work. Well, thanks to Kotaku, we now know — The controller itself will include two accelerometers and 4 motions sensors (which you can see above) all serving their own purpose.
The accelerometers, as you could have guessed, will deal with turning and spinning. As in, you tilt to the left your character turns left, tilt right he turns right, just like a real skateboard.
The real fun, however, comes with tricks like kickflips and tail grabs in which you will utilize the motion sensors. You’ll have to actually move your feet over said motion sensors just like you would if you were doing the trick in real life. Nonskateboarders don’t fret as there will be 3 difficulty the hardest of which will require “a ton of motion control from the user” with the two easier settings catering towards those who are less skateboard savvy.
It seems that 3D Realms still exists, albeit as a much smaller company, who’s only purpose it to retain rights and control the Duke Nukem franchise. The company released the following statement:
“Despite rumors and statements to the contrary, 3D Realms has not closed and is not closing. 3DR retains ownership of the Duke Nukem franchise. Due to lack of funding, however, we are saddened to confirm that we let the Duke Nukem Forever development team go on May 6th, while we regroup as a company.”
3D Realms also commented on the Take Two lawsuit rumors, saying that the company received no money from Take Two for Duke Nukem Forever, and that Take Two initially tried to buy 3D Realms and the Duke Nukem franchise, but the company didn’t see it as a decent deal.
More here.
If you planned on going to BlizzCon this year, prepare to be disappointed, at least for now. Because the first batch of tickets available for BlizzCon have been sold out.
Blizzard announced that the second and last batch of tickets will go on sale on May 30, so if you’re really interested in going, mark your calendar and wait until midnight of May 29.
