The hardware battle between the Xbox 360 and the PS3 has been going on ever since the technical specs of the consoles were released, fanboys arguing over which console was the most powerful.

Patrick Soderlund, senior vice president of EA Games Europe, said to Joystiq, “I do think that we’ll see developers inside the organization getting to understand the PS3 better and I think that we’re getting more power out of PS3 right now… I think that we’ve maxed out the 360 but we haven’t maxed out the PS3″.

Granted, the developers have had the Xbox 360 system to work on a full year more than the PS3, when both systems have been “maxed out”, the comparison between them would be more appropriate.
