After playing the same faction for four years now, it wouldn’t hurt to have a little change. In fact, it might get a little boring to be the same race for so long. Fortunately, Blizzard has now begun their faction transfers. Players can now switch from Alliance to Horde, or Horde to Alliance.

Once changed, you can choose any race to be as long as it matches your character’s class. For example, you can’t create a Draenei Rogue, but you can become a Human Rogue. But, who would want to go Alliance anyways? Traitor.

The faction change costs $30.00 and can be done here.

Yesterday, Guitar Hero 5 launched in North America, and with game launches come the obligatory trailer. If you want any gameplay footage, you won’t exactly find it here, but I’ve always wanted to go skydiving, so I put it up here anyways.

If you haven’t checked out the Playboy marketing strategy yet, I highly recommend it. Guitar Hero 5 will be seeing a European launch on the 11th, followed by an Australian release on the 16th.

After having to wait three months for Red Faction: Guerilla to hit the PC, PC gamers will be getting a treat to compensate for their wait.

A report from IGN reveals that the port will include the “Demons of the Badlands” DLC package, along with the console pre-order bonus Wrecking Crew mode maps, two PC-exclusive multiplayer maps. Even six Wrecking Crew maps and the Bagman modes from the upcoming second DLC are included.

So maybe the wait was well worth it. Red Faction: Guerilla will be heading to the PC on September 15th through various content distribution services, such as Steam.

One of the most well known and loved game modes, Capture the Flag, was absent from Call of Duty 4 which led gamers to believe that Modern Warfare 2 would also abandon the mode.

Luckily, Infinity Ward has recently released the above trailer showcasing the new game mode and boy does it look like fun. Of course, this gives us another opportunity to drool over the beautiful visuals and every other amazing aspect featured in this highly anticipated title.

If you already find it hard to wait until Modern Warfare 2‘s November 10th release date I suggest you don’t watch the above video as it will make the wait even harder. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.

The Bugatti Veyron is largely accepted as one of the fastest production cars available on the market today with an astonishing 1000 horsepower and top speed of over 250 MPH. With those specs, I bet you would love to drive one, right?

Well, unless you want to fork over $1.4 million you’re just going to have to settle with driving it in Forza Motorsport 3 as it was just announced that the car will be making an appearance in the title.

Included above is a video detailing the meticulous work that went into perfectly replicating the vehicle for Forza 3 and I must say, the results are stunning. However, for now, you’ll have to sit tight for your chance to drive the Veyron as Turn 10′s Forza Motorsport 3 doesn’t hit store shelves for the Xbox 360 until October 27th, 2009.

It seems that our buds over at Joystiq recently found themselves shopping at Target only to find a rack featuring nothing other than video game underwear. As you can see there’s Rock Band, Guitar Hero, Halo and more.

Although, the worst part about this is that there are no video game underwear made specifically for women. What gives?

On September 1st, 2009 in Nintendo DSi

As of now, there is arguably no incentive to buy the DSi over the DS Lite other than the camera and the fact that it’s the latest and greatest. However, it seems that the handheld console will be getting its first exclusive game from Alpha Unit entitled Monster Finder, not to be confused with Capcom’s Monster Hunter.

Players will reportedly use the DSi’s built-in camera to collect various monsters, but that’s all we have to go by for now.

In terms of a release date, our sources say it will hit Japan sometime this winter with no mention of a worldwide release.

If you thought you’ve seen previously seen screenshots of Gran Turismo 5, you’d be wrong, as they were screenshots of Gran Turismo 5 Prologue. Lucky for you, Polyphony Digital has released what they are calling the first official screenshots of the actual game which we’ve included in the blow gallery.

As you might have expected, they look like screenshots of Prologue but they aren’t, they are of Gran Turismo 5, get it right.

What you see above is a recently released trailer for GTA IV‘s latest expansion, The Ballad of Gay Tony, called ‘You’ll Always Be The King Of This Town’.

Some interesting things to make note of from the trailer are the introductions of UFC style cage fighting, sky diving and a whole lot of awesomeness.

Grand Theft Auto IV‘s The Ballad of Gay Tony will be made available through Xbox Live on October 29th for 1600 Microsoft Points. Alternatively you can pick the expansion up with The Lost & Damned as part of the Episodes From Liberty City retail bundle which will presumably ship around the same time.
