It seems that not even massive EA Games can ignore Steam’s digital platform, even though EA has its own EA Link digital distribution platform. EA announced that some of its 6 biggest titles are now available on Steam, including Battlefield 2, Need For Speed Shift, Godfather 1 & 2, Medal of Honor Airborne and C&C Red Alert 3: Uprising.

It’s interesting to see two of the most popular online titles, Counter-Strike and Battlefield, often titles with opposing fanbases, to be under the same banner on Steam. Last, year, EA added a bunch of games on Steam, which include Mirror’s Edge and Mass Effect, among others.
