Halo 3: ODST sells 2.5 million units

Never underestimate a franchise, goes the saying. It certainly rings true to Halo 3: ODST, which has now sold over 2.5 million units, Microsoft told USA Today. The game reached the impressive sales number during only the first two weeks of being released, which almost borders Halo 3′s release numbers. To date, the Halo franchise has sold over 27 million units, Microsoft revealed, and with the momentum ODST is experiencing, there’s a good possibility that it will be the game that breaks the 30 million barrier.
