DS passes 10 million units sold mark in UK

The DS has sold a gazillion units worldwide — actually, 114 million, but who’s counting anyways — and it has reached a new milestone in the UK, as the handheld console surpassed the 10 million mark. This makes the DS the best selling console in the region of all time, taking the throne previously held by the PlayStation 2. The sales data also reveals that the Wii has surpassed 6 million units sold in the region.
