Modern Warfare 2 tops sales charts in UK for 8th straight week

UK gamers love Modern Warfare 2, and the hype around the game hasn’t seem to slowed down since its launch back in November. According to GFK chart track, the game has remained on the top stop for the eight straight week, despite sales slowing down by 41 percent over that period. But it’s not like MW2 saw any serious competition from other games during the period. It was the first time a game was on the top spot for 8 weeks since Need For Speed Underground 2 topped the charts, a good five years ago.
