Some good news are in for upcoming Mass Effect 2 owners: the game will have a free DLC on release date, according to a BioWare tweet.

Addressing rumors: BioWare will not be charging extra for any new Mass Effect 2 content on launch day. More DLC details next week.

This is most likely content that didn’t make it in the final game due to time constrains, or perhaps it was DLC that was planned to cost something, but then went free, for whatever reason. Either way, we’re sure glad there most Mass Effect 2 content on release.
