Some are very, very into their MMOs, like WoW addicts who spend 8-9 hours a day raiding and playing. Others though, have a far deeper interest, who spend a lot of real money on virtual items, and a man under the name of “Erik” might have trumped them all, as he has spent 3.3 million “Project Entropia Dollars” for a virtual space station on the MMO game Planet Calypso, which translates into $330,000 USD. We’re not really familiar with the game and won’t bother to try and explain what the deal with the space station is, we’ll only say “damn”! He could’ve gotten a (real) Ferrari for that cash.
