Bungie to return to Halo in the future?

After Halo 3 everyone thought that Bungie wouldn’t be making a 4th game and then came Reach. Now, Bungie has been quoted to saying that Reach would actually be their last Halo game, but it seems that has now been taken back, somewhat.

Bungie’s Brian Jarrad, said the following:

“You know, it might be premature to say we’ll never ever, ever make a Halo game again. We sort of have a little special place for Halo in our hearts. But for the foreseeable future, this [Halo Reach] is it.”

Now that Bungie has broken free from Microsoft, anyone Microsoft deems worth can get their hands on Halo. But honestly what is a Halo game without Bungie?
