The game will be released next month.

Infinity Ward has announced that they’ve submitted the next Modern Warfare 2 patch to Microsoft to test and certify on the Xbox 360. The patch, called “Care package” has already been released on the PC and PS3, and Xbox 360 owners will have to wait at least another week until it’s available. The full changes of the patch are:
- Care Package, Emergency Airdrop, and Sentry Gun marker grenades sprint speed normalized.
- Fix for “infinite care package” exploit.
- Sentry Guns: Improved placement detection, preventing cases of Sentry Guns inside geometry.
- Model 1887: Bling using Akimbo and FMJ combination now has same range and damage as non-Bling Model 1887s.
- Fixes to prevent various XP hacks.
