Yesterday we reported about an Xbox Live moderator that banned a user on Xbox Live, supposedly abusing his powers. However, a new, unedited video actually shows that the moderator had a right and reason to ban the player, not only because of his abusive language, but also because he used a modded Xbox 360.

One of Capcom‘s most highly anticipated titles coming out in the near future is Super Street Fighter IV. However, it seems that the developer has another title in the works that none of us have heard about yet. News came to us from Capcom’s John Diamonon who wrote on the PlayStation Blog:

“Oh, one other thing. I’ll be back in April for a huge announcement. Stay tuned and let the speculation begin!”

What possibly could this be? Marvel vs Capcom 3? Maybe an all new IP? Who knows.

uncharted2

Need more proof that Uncharted 2 is an amazing game? How about the fact that it’s sold 3.5 million units to date making it the fastest selling first party Playstation 3 game of all time.

Couple that with the fact that the game won pretty much all the award there and received pretty much flawless reviews across the board and you have an obvious conclusion; Uncharted 2 kicks ass, go get it now.

I bet Naughty Dog is over there licking their lips about how much money there is to be made with Uncharted 3, whenever it comes out.

It seems that un boxing the Collector’s Edition of your latest game is all the rage, and Square Enix is hoppin’ on board with Final Fantasy XIII. Of course, instead of giving one of their employees 20 bucks to unbox the thing on video they created an elaborate, yet short, virtual unboxing of the Collector’s Edition.

Unfortunately there is no information as to the contents of the pack but we can definitely make out some artwork booklets and perhaps even the sound track.

Battlefield: Bad Company 2‘s release date is just over the horizon but already DICE’s ex-CEO, Fredrik Liljegren, is speaking of Battlefield 3.

Unfortunately, he can’t give us any details because he’s still under an NDA but he says that Battlefield 3 will “absolutely blow everyone away”. Why? Well, because it apparently features a completely different experience from Modern Warfare 2, currently one of the most played PC games.

johncarmack

Have you played an FPS before? Of course you have. What you may not have played, however, is the original Doom or Quake. If you have, you may know that John Carmack was the lead programmer behind both of these classic titles that really made the FPS genre popular.

Well, it was recently announced that Mr. Carmack will be joining the likes of Shigeru Miyamoto, Sid Meier, and Will Wright at this year’s Game Developer Conference as a holder of the Lifetime Achievement award.

Like I mentioned above, the original Doom and Quake are two games that helped revolutionize gaming and put FPS games in the spotlight so Carmack is definitely deserving of this award.

Normally, trading your used games into GameStop would net you close to nothing. However, they are running a promotion that will give an extra 50% credit for trade-ins. Of course, you’re still only going to see anything from newer titles like BioShock 2, Modern Warfare 2 and New Super Mario Bros. Wii which will all net you $35.

There’s no word on when this promotion will end so you better hurry up and say goodbye to your brand new games sooner rather than later if you’re trying to get in on it.

projectnatal

Michael Patcher, the analyst who recently said Project Natal would cost $50, has again gone on record about the motion sensing device. This time, Mr. Pachter suggests that Microsoft’s motion sensing solution will be much more popular than Sony’s. In fact, he thinks that Project Natal will outsell the Playstation Motion Controller an outstanding 5:1.

Of course, he is just an analyst, and sometimes analysts are wrong, so until the hardware is actually released we won’t know for sure which motion sensing solution is to reign supreme.

A moderator on Xbox Live seems to have been caught banning an Xbox Live account for no reason, as you can see in the video above.
