Xbox 360 Battlefield: Bad Company 2 servers to ‘full speed within 90 minutes’

If you’ve been trying to play Battlefield: Bad Company 2 for the Xbox 360 online you probably noticed that there have been some connection issues. This was caused by the massive response to the game; EA was apparently under-prepared.
Anyways, EA has recently let us know via their Twitter the following:
EA server maintenance which is affecting the Xbox 360 BFBC2 is taking longer than expected. We’ll have the servers back as soon as possible.
And then:
BFBC2 are coming back online. Things will be back up to full speed within 90 minutes.
So folks, it looks like you won’t have to wait much longer until you can get your Bad Company 2 fix. I just wonder, are they going to reset the leaderboards?
