Have you had your eye on the Xbox 360 Elite Spring Bundle on Amazon.com that comes with Forza Motorsport 3 and Halo 3: ODST but don’t want to order it online? Well now you don’t have to as it was just made knkown that the bundle is now available from GameStop for the same $299.99 price tag.
If you haven’t been paying attention, this bundle comes with the 120GB Xbox 360 Elite, Forza Mortorsport 3, Halo 3: ODST and all the bells and whistles normally bundled with a 360.
Have you not picked up either The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned or Mad Moxxi’s Underdome Riot for Borderlands? Well, you’re in luck as 2K Games has just announced that they will be bundling the 2 DLC packs on a retail disc called the Double Game Add-on Pack.
The pack will ship to North American Retailers on April 6th and international retailers on April 9th for $19.99. What’s strange is the fact that there was no mention of a PS3 release, only an Xbox 360 and PC one.
Hot on the heels of the Gears of War 3 release date rumor, a Killzone 3 release date rumor has risen. What’s interesting about this rumor is that is says Guerilla Games is planning to go head-to-head with Gears of War 3 and will release Killzone 3 also in April 2011.
What adds even more heat to this fire is the fact that rumors have already been circulating that Killzone 3 will be both 3D and able to use Playstation Move. If these are true, it may be what will give Killzone 3 the edge over Gears.
Amazon has just announced their Deal of the Day and it’s one that is sure to please music fans everywhere. For today only, you’ll e able to pick up Guitar Hero 5 for just $28.99. Sure, it’s only a $10 savings off the normal game but in this economy we need every dollar we can get. Especially so we can pick up some of those snazzy new guitar controllers.
The deal is for the PS3, Xbox 360, Wii and PS2 versions of the game so no matter what console you have, you’ll be good.
Just in case having Metal Gear Solid: Peacewalker wasn’t enough on its own, Sony has come forth to show us the MGS: Peacewalker PSP bundle. As you can see, the bundle will include a limited edition “Spirited Green” Metal Gear Solid PSP-3000 in addition to the following goodies:

Sony’s God of War III has just been released to store shelves and to hype us up one more time before we all dive into the game they have released the above trailer.
The trailer is entitled Chaos and features the game’s main main Kratos looking all sorts of badass. But what are you waiting for? Go get the game!
Did you attend this year’s Game Developer’s Conference? If so, you were part of a new record as it was just announced that the convention ammased 18,250 attendees. This is up from last year’s 17,000 making it the biggest GDC yet.
Additionally, with next year’s GDC already slated for February 28th, 2011 we’re sure to see yet another record be set.
If you didn’t know, EA is hard at work on an MMO racer entitled Need for Speed World, most likly capitalizing on the success of the recently released Need for Speed: Shift. Well, it was recently made known that the closed beta for the game has just begun.
EA described the game as the following:
“For the first time in a racing game, players will be able to compete against any one of their friends, family or pick from thousands of top ranked players to challenge in intense online battles and police pursuits across 150 miles of sprawling open world.”

Gears of War 2 dropped on November 7th, 2008 so it would only make sense that Epic would make an announcement about a sequel at some point soon. Well, they haven’t made an announcement but rumors have just surfaced that say the game will be out in April, 2011.
The reason Epic is planning the game so late is so they can miss both the Halo: Reach and Project Natal launches both of which are due later this year. Missing these major launches will give Gears of War 3 the spot light like it deserves.
When I was younger I admitadely fell in love with everything CKY/Jackass much like pretty much every other teenager. With that love came an obsession with the Finnish rock band HIM, seeing as Bam Margera would edit a lot of their tracks over CKY clips.
Anyways, the reason this all matters is because it was just announced that HIM will be on Rock Band 2 this weekend making them available to play, well, just about anyone. Just hop on Rock Band 2 this Thursday, March 25th between 9PM – 11PM EST and add the gamertag HIM GwF.
I unfortunately don’t have Rock Band 2 but this announcement did make me check out their new CD Screamword: Love in Theory and Practice. It’s pretty sick.
